Skill Based Sources of Livelihood
The skill-based sources of livelihood initiative aim to strengthen agricultural communities by providing them with alternative income opportunities, through training and skill development programs, people are empowered to engage in income-generating activities related to their traditional crafts and expertise. This approach enables farming households to offset potential agricultural losses by diversifying into other viable occupations, ensuring their economic resilience and sustainability.
Quality Education
BASIC Development Foundation is dedicated to promoting quality education, non-formal basic education, and inclusive education. The organization recognizes the transformative power of education in shaping individuals, communities, and Societies. Therefore, it is committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of Gender or background, has access to an education that empowers them and nurtures their potential.
Health Nutrition, & Hygiene
In remote areas, where access to healthcare facilities may be limited, BASIC organizes health awareness campaigns, medical camps, and health check-ups to provide essentials healthcare services and information to the communities. These initiatives focus on educating the community about preventive measures, nutrition, and sanitation and disease management to empower them to take charge of their health.
Community Physical Infrastructure (CPI)
By promoting eco-friendly Community Physical infrastructure, BASIC DF is contributing to the creation of healthier and more sustainable communities, where development is balanced with environmental protection. Through these endeavors, the organization envisions a future infrastructure development and ecological responsibility go hand in hand, ensuring a better quality of life for present and future generations.
Food Security, Nutrition and Emergency Shelter/Housing
BASIC Development Foundation is committed to responding promptly to the needs of people in areas that have already been inverted, especially during times of disasters. These operational areas will remain the primary focus of the organization’s activities, and areas will remain the primary focus of the organization’s activities, and it is a core responsibility for BASIC DF to undertake response, relief and Rehabilitation work in those regions when disaster strikes.
