In the heart of Union Council Masoo Bhurgri Taluka Hyderabad (Rural) District Hyderabad, lies Village Mehrani, a community grappling with a unique challenge. For nearly five decades, the village has been home to a significant population of individuals with disabilities, primarily deafness and dumbness. Currently, 50 individuals face these challenges, limiting their opportunities and impacting their daily lives.

The Building Advanced Society through Integrated Community (BASIC) Development Foundation, also known as Basic Development Foundation, is a not for profit organization committed to improving the socio-economic conditions of underprivileged communities in Sindh province.
