The Organization

The Building Advanced Society through Integrated Community (BASIC) Development Foundation is a non-profit organization working since 2010 to improve social and economic conditions of marginalized communities across Sindh. Established in response to harsh living realities, rising poverty, and limited access to basic services, BASIC Dev. Foundation recognizes environmental and climate vulnerability as key drivers of poverty and increasing disability, and works through inclusive, community-centered actions to reduce risk and strengthen community resilience. read more …

Communities Lead, BASIC DF Supports

Homes for the Underprivileged

346 Village Construction Committees

Village Construction Committees with 1,730 women and men members, worked together to implement CPI projects with coordination support from BASIC Development Foundation.

Young Minds in Learning

A network of 5,341 volunteers

Across different districts of Sindh, communities are associated with BASIC Development Foundation and remain ready to respond during emergencies and disasters, timely effectively

Skill Development in Action

168 inclusive Sub-committees

168 community-led and inclusive sub-committees, bringing together 840 women and men to carry out different projects with coordination support from BASIC Development Foundation.

Empowered Through Handcrafts

Inclusive Farmers’ Leadership

Forty-six women-led and forty-six men-led farmers organizations with 1,350 women and 1,050 men members active across District Dadu, coordinated with BASIC Development Foundation.
