Ms. Naveeda Shaikh brings over eight years of experience in the development and emergency response sectors to her role as a team member at BASIC Development Foundation. Her expertise spans a wide range of areas, including disaster response, poverty alleviation, food security, livelihood, health & hygiene, DRR, education, advocacy, social mobilization, and research.
Throughout her career, Ms. Shaikh has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, serving as a facilitator, mentor, team leader, and master trainer. She has played a crucial role in capacity building, networking of local organizations, research, advocacy campaigns, and the recovery and rehabilitation of infrastructure and livelihoods.
Her diverse working experience includes projects implemented in response to the 2010 Super Floods, the 2011-12 Heavy Rains and Flash Floods, and poverty alleviation programs. She has worked with renowned organizations such as ACF International, Pakistan Red Crescent, GORAKH, and HOPE.
