Hyderabad and Dadu, Sindh, Pakistan, Urban and Rural Regions

Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, often referred to as the “City of Winds,” has experienced excessive heat over the past two years due to global warming. In response, BASIC Development Foundation has decided to act by promoting tree plantation to help reduce heat. The organization is collaborating with individuals, corporations, donor organizations, and local government to launch this initiative. BASIC Development Foundation is appealing for donations and encouraging self-initiatives for tree planting.

District Dadu, located in Sindh, is one of the hottest regions in the area, with temperatures often exceeding 50 degrees Celsius. Recognizing the need to combat the extreme heat and create a more sustainable environment, BASIC Development Foundation has made Dadu its base for environmental initiatives. As part of their efforts, the organization has launched a tree-planting campaign aimed at cooling and greening the region, addressing both environmental and community well-being.
