Education Sector Interventions

Our approach is people-centered and inclusive.

We work through:

BASIC DF works with communities as active partners in their own development. Our approach is community-led and inclusive, ensuring that local people guide priorities and solutions.
We engage communities through inclusive dialogue, accessible learning activities, strengthened local groups, and coordination with service providers so that everyone, including persons with disabilities, can participate and benefit.

Who We Work With

Our work engages:

  • Smallholder farmers and livestock keepers
  • Women groups and cooperatives
  • Youth and learners
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Climate-affected and marginalized households

Where We Work

BASIC Development Foundation works mainly in rural and semi-rural areas of Sindh, including districts such as Dadu, Jamshoro, and surrounding regions, where access, inclusion, and local participation remain critical priorities.

What Change We Aim For

Through our work, communities are better able to:

  • Participate in development activities without barriers
  • Access learning, livelihoods, and services equally
  • Recognize the abilities and contributions of persons with disabilities
  • Build stronger, more inclusive community institutions

Moving Forward Together

We believe meaningful progress grows when every individual is respected, included, and able to contribute. Our work continues alongside communities to create inclusive development pathways that value diversity and shared responsibility.
