BASIC Development Foundation (BDF) is a non-governmental organization (NGO). We do not sell products or ship goods to donors. All monetary contributions made through this website are donations. This policy explains how we “deliver” our charitable services and what you can expect when you support us.

1. No Physical Shipping

BDF does not offer physical products for sale. There is no shipping of goods. Your donation supports our programs (e.g. education, health, livelihood, disaster response) and is used in accordance with our charitable objectives and donor intent.

2. Delivery of Services (Programs)

“Service” in our context means the delivery of our charitable programs and activities, such as:

• Education and skill development initiatives
• Health, nutrition, and WASH interventions
• Climate-resilient livelihoods and agriculture support
• Community infrastructure and humanitarian assistance
• Other development and relief activities as described on our website

Donations are pooled and applied to these programs. We do not provide a fixed “delivery date” for charitable outcomes; program implementation depends on funding, partnerships, and field conditions.

3. What You Receive

After a donation, you may receive:

• An on-screen or email confirmation of your donation
• A receipt or acknowledgment for your records (and for tax purposes where applicable)
• Optional updates about our work and impact, if you have agreed to receive them

We do not provide goods or services in exchange for donations; the benefit is the furtherance of our charitable mission.

4. Donation Allocation

Where you have chosen a specific appeal or program (e.g. a listed campaign), we use reasonable efforts to apply your donation to that cause. If a designated program is oversubscribed or no longer active, we may allocate funds to a similar program and will disclose this where appropriate.
