Promote Entrepreneurship through Youth Technical Trainings

The Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research and
Development Board, under the government of Sindh, is extending
support to the BASIC Development Foundation for the establishment
of two skill development centers in Village Morio Mirbahar of Union
Council Barham and Village Zaheer Barich of Union Council Hatri, both
located in Taluka Hyderabad Rural District, Hyderabad.
Through this initiative, BASIC DF is offering technical and vocational
training courses, which span over a period of four months. These
courses include stitching, beautician training, and hand embroidery,
and they are specifically designed for the benefit of 160 adult girls and
women in the area.

In order to ensure the quality and recognition of these courses, both centers and the training programs are duly registered under the Trade Testing Board in Karachi and the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) in Sindh. The primary objective of this effort is to equip rural women with technical education and skills, thereby opening up employment opportunities for them in their communities.
